Lisa McIntyre originates from Portree on the Isle of Skye, where she discovered her love of acting and performing at a young age through local pantomimes and choirs.
She later moved to Aberdeen at 17 to begin studying her NC at North East Scotland College. Lisa remained there for three years, leaving with an HND in 2019. During her time in Aberdeen, Lisa was involved in a variety of performances such as The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband by Debbie Isitt, Frankenstein by Nick Dear and The Wizard of OZ by Douglas Yannaghas and was also one of the Student Ambassadors for the Dundee Rep Theatre. She was also involved in the Aberdeen Student Show group for two years and ended her two years with the Highland Youth Choir during her studies at NESCOL. Lisa also worked with North East Stage Combat to learn stage combat skills while living in Aberdeen. Following her time in Aberdeen, Lisa moved to Ayr to continue her studies at the University of the West of Scotland where she attained her BA (Hons) degree.
